Melanie Abramov is a film director and artist from Brooklyn, NY. Employing film as a tool to explore themes of sexuality through her surrealist style, Melanie lends a necessary & provocative voice to women in media through her uninhibited approach. She directed her first award-winning experimental short film, Dame Factory, in 2012. Melanie is currently the Experimental programmer for the Brooklyn Film Festival.

Commercially Melanie has worked for clients such as Scion, Y&R, McCann, MAC, HGTV & Digitas on commercial & social campaigns. Presently she is Senior Director of Video for Ralph Lauren in NYC, working across all platforms in digital media.
